Suunto 9 Peak Pro?
-
@freeheeler you gave her the s9pp but you also gonna to borrow her watch to see if the size of the watch fit with your needs before to move or not to s9pp I am jocking
-
@freeheeler I pre-ordered the Ti Slate last week and I see the suunto site now says :Availability: Not yet available
?
Hope this means it’s sold out, and not some issue with this version that will delay shipping next week.
-
@mikekoski490
I only saw a similar message for the green one.
maybe if you refresh, change language etc?
I also saw that shipping for slate should be 25th. I’m sure Suunto will inform you in case of any delay.
Enjoy the watch once you receive it -

Surely! I recall s9p was also sold out on pre-order.

@freeheeler I like all color options but I find the black in particular really nice looking. No Suunto online shop here, so I’ll have to rely on Decathlon as they are the main retailer for Suunto here. And they sell only black suuntos here - S5, regular 9B, 9P, only the 5P is in black and white. Judging by their start of 5P sales, I’ll have to wait 2-3 months before they start offering 9PP. I’m OK with that as there might be more info on whether 9PP will have a bigger sibling.

@freeheeler No change on the language on the website here in Canada. Hopefully, I will get a shipping notice on Tuesday.

SUUNTO 9 PEAK PRO
TITANIUM SLATE
Availability: Not yet available -
@mikekoski490
if you’ve ordered it while it was still available I wouldn’t worry too much already.@skifun
where’s that? Suunto does not ship in your country but Decathlon is a retailer??
I was in Italy last week, saw Garmin in Decathlon and was a bit surprised. But only a limited selection of models.
Didn’t see Suunto at all. -
@freeheeler in Italy decathlon has Garmin, Suunto, Fitbit, Polar, Coros, Wahoo, and their own things
-
@isazi
basically everything except apple ultra -

@dulko79
but frankly speaking: body to screen to functions to weight ratio is second to none.
battery life and speed charging are something very convenient!
I’m sure my wife will forget where she put the cable… she’s got an S7 now -

What about other online shops such as bikeinn, deporvillage etc?
Btw irun already has stock, not sure if they ship to Italy https://www.i-run.fr/electronique/Cardio-Gps_c59/Suunto_m99/Suunto-9-Peak-Pro_Suunto_fiche_123000.html?fbclid=IwAR2G9BvP8G-1WWom3iFhc0oYRI_OqX0pPg76_BN5ZUONDy5rOHFeK2Dl45Y&kwkuniv=P4572B567F7D100-ccp4572b567f7d191&utm_source=affiliation&utm_medium=Running-weeks-octobre-2022#ectrans=1 -
Hervis (sports stores) sent newsletter today. S9 Peak Pro is available in the biggest stores today.
-
Very curious about this new model:
- will finally the OHR work for me (after bad data on S9B and S9P)
- comparison between wrist power and Stryd.
For the last point, I guess we will have some insights from DCRainmaker tomorrow.

and still no shipping mail from suunto

@v-sacre the difference between Stryd and the wrist power of the S9PP is minimal, with the S9PP being consistently few watts lower.
-
Alltricks ship mine to day for delivery tomorrow.
-
@Mff73 sweet suffering maybe it was already shipped. If not and it ships out tomorrow you will probably have in a day or two, which is also ok.

It may vary for some, I find the Pro to be very similar to Stryd except with quick acceleration and fast intervals where the Pro does not have as high a max as the Stryd. On easy runs they are the same for me. My experience is almost all on trails.
