Some moves are not sync
-
Hi,
After some month from the last sync, today I started Suunto app but only the last 12 move are sync.
Other move before are present on the watch but not sync in the app Suunto.
How can I solve this issue? It’s very important.
I wrote to the support but I didn’t resolve with delete data cache in suunto app
Thank you! -

The activities that are not sync, do have graphs if you check the details in the logbook ?
If not, they won’t be sync as they are not “complete” but you have just a summary of it.Did you updated the firmware meanwhile ?

@lorena22584
and an additional question:
are the activities you are missing in Suunto App color or grey icons in the watches logbook
if clear cache doesn’t help, maybe reinstalling the app helps.
if data is important, it is best to sync frequently… -
@sartoric @freeheeler Thank you for your answers.
I checked and I found that the no-sync Activities haven’t the graphic, all the others have it but in all my stages the color is green (trekking type).
I did a long trekking and I recorded all stages at the same way all days.
I would like save all before the update, because the firmware erase all data on watch.
There Is a way to do It? Thanks a lot.

@lorena22584
when the logbook icons are green they’ve been synced to the server and if you reinstall SA they should be there.
I haven’t heard of missing graphs and incomplete activities that can not be synced.
And it is new to me that updating the FW deletes the logbook… I still had activities from before FW updates on my watch -
@lorena22584, @freeheeler
In fact, updating the firmware delete “data” from the activities, but there’ll still be the summary.Unfortunately, the summary won’t sync anything to the APP.
How big are those activities? Did you recorded HR too ?
Maybe what happened here is that there wasn’t enough “disk” space too keep them all, and the older have been overwritten.
In fact older ones have the colored icon, that means there is no pending sync.You can try to uninstall, reinstall the app to force sync everything, but anyway the rules above will be applied
-
@lorena22584 I think that what happened to you is what @sartoric points out, your old data has been overwritten by the new one because watch run out of memory. To avoid that you should sync the watch frequently.

@sartoric
sorry, never saw this myself as I sync every day.
older activity is only colored if it was synced successfully to the server. if it’s older and grey it still can be overwritten.
