Unable to factory reset watch

Hello, I’ve had my Suunto 9 Baro for a few years. Recently it started giving me the down arrow and blinking dots so I attempted to factory reset. Upon doing so, the “Update Fails” with the reason of Firmware Update Error: Mode switch failure to Application, is UpdateApplication. SuuntoLink is fully updated and the watch is v2.20.30.
