New software update for S9P-S9B-S9-S5P-S5 and S3 devices 2.20.28

@frederick-rochette @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Having the lap numbers is not possible with Suunto… with garmin it works
-
@brad_olwin I didn’t fully appreciate how nice it is to not have to have structured workout in order for this to work. I am new to TP but I have a Wahoo ELMNT Bolt bike computer and today I tried syncing over just a simple elevation goal workout to Wahoo and it would not even sync over nor do they have the Target Elevation Gain as a data field that you can add to your pages. So its neat that Suunto who is really new to this integration game is already with their approach adding options that others like Wahoo who have had this for far longer still don’t have… Its nice and practical in real life for folks that don’t always want intervals but they have another goal that they would like to automatically become part of their scheduled activities.
-
@frederick-rochette I think this is possible from the creator if not, keep in mind things improve all the time now even wihtout a SW update
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos you’ve also mentioned, s+ apps from partners may be coming in the future without fw upgrade. Are you allowed to say, whether something like this is coming soon? Or is the focus from 3d parties right now shifted towards designing guides?
-
@dmytro your firmware already supports both.
-
@dmytro Parters can create Suunto + apps and Suunto can publish them.
Atm I have no clue what the focus is.
But in theory the moment an app is created , either by Suunto or whoever this is pushed live SA picks it up and lists it under Suunto plus.
That was there I think since the last update
-
@greku it happened to me as well. It’s reported already. But for sure: yes pls send the logs.
-
Suunto guide is TERRIFIC!!!
Finally I have my strength training on the watch and it works like a charm!This is example from interval.icu and works as I have always wanted it to work.
There is just one tiny caveat though, If your workout is set to move to the next exercise with lap button press, LONG pressing lap button will switch exercise as well. So basically you long press and short press are not recognized.
Not a big deal but may good if the two were recognized as separate.
Great Job SUUNTO -
Really excited to see if this will eventually result in Stryd being able to push structured workouts to the device.
-
I uploaded a workout from trainingpeaks, very easy to do and good watch interface during the workout…
Then I deleted it from the calendar and it didn’t disappear from the watch (good), but now I can’t delete it from the watch, does anyone know how I can do that? -
Bug or feature?
After the last fw update I noticed that the countdown timer only vibrate once on 0:00.
Before the update it started vibrating in short bursts from around 0:10 till 0:00 and a longer vibration on 0:00 -
@surfboomerang
maybe peak only… mine beeps and vibrates from 10s as always -
@carlo-rocca if it was planned for today, it will disappear tomorrow.
-
@surfboomerang mine works.
-
@isazi it was planned for yesterday…
-
@carlo-rocca at least for intervals.icu workouts on iOS Suunto App version swiping from right to left on the workout opens a delete field and tapping on it deletes it. Intervals.icu workouts also disappear as soon as you delete / move them on their webinterface (not a day later) from the app
-
@carlo-rocca can you see it in the app?
-
@isazi yes
-
@carlo-rocca swipe it to the right.
-
@freeheeler, @isazi you are right. I posted too soon.
A soft reboot fixed the countdown timer issue.
