      Hi again!

Still not sure if the following question/wish is the correct place to post, but I thought, why not giving it a try? 😉

Currently the tempozones in the S9B are linked to each other, meaning the upper value of tempozone 2 corresponds with the lower value of tempozone 3. A I try to run constant tempos depending on the distant (for instance: 400m interval is different pace than an 800m, or my 10km pace is different than HM), I rather set zones based on the type of length.

      Fictive Example:

      • Zone 1 : 4:08/km - 4:12/km (for 400m)
      • Zone 2 : 4:11/km - 4:13/km (for 600m)
      • Zone 3: 5:01/km - 5:08/km (for HM race)
      • Zone 4: 5:14/km - 5:21/km (for HM training tempo)

If not mistaken, other metrics (like VO2max) are typically calculated based on heart rate zones and speed (not really based on the current tempozones)?

If this has already been discussed, I couldn’t find it… Either way, dreaming is free 😉

      Happy running!
