Update S5 Peak 2.19.44 ?

Hi, after receiving the S5 Peak today it seems found, that there is an Update available. See picture:

Tapping on “Aktualisierung herunterladen” (Download Update) seems to do nothing. Not a big problem atm. But what am I doing wrong? The watch is running Version 2.17.32

@chrisa yes, S5P has a different version of the firmware this time.

@isazi will it always have a different firmware or will it eventually be in sync with the rest of the S models?

@surfboomerang be in sync, being a new device it got firmware .44 instead of .42 but it’s just bug fixing. Features are the same.

@chrisa may be worth just living it paired until tomorrow with your phone to see if it updates.

@isazi on Android it also fails (reports Update failed)

so I will pair back with ios and just wait. No big problem, watch works flawlessly. Did not even think that I would get it that fast

@isazi I have the exact same issue with my S5 Peak connected to my iPad. I also paired the S5 Peak with my Pixel 5 and when go to update watch I get ‘Failed to Check For Updates’ instead. The S9 Peak can check for updates just fine using the same iPad and Pixel 5 phone.

Okay I will ask if anyone knows anything. Let’s wait a couple of days, I thought S5Ps were not even supposed to be shipped until tomorrow

@isazi Today I was able to update the S5 Peak to 2.19.44. I guess it was just a case of waiting

Maybe shipping was faster than expected. Let me know if there is anyone with issues updating.

I am an hour away from getting one in my hands. Will update via iOS and do a small trail run if mud is below my waist.

@lexterm77 For me it’s still not working. The watch shows that it there is no update

While in the App tells me there is an update available, but tapping on the blue text does nothing….

Like I said no big deal, but either I am too stupid (what is completely possible ) or something isn’t working the way it should.

I can’t download the update in iOS SA, but it says it is available. When I click download update nothing happens.
Download bar stays at zero.

Maybe it needs to be winded up?
