Firmware update always failed (update, hard reset or manual update)
My suunto 9 doens’t work anymore…
When I try to update the firmware with suuntolink (update or factory reset), it failed with this message :
Firmware update error : Mode switch failure to Application, is UpdateApplication.
I also try to upgrade to this firmware version : Lima-fw_188.8.131.521-F.zip
But it also failed with the same error message.
Does anyone has a idea how to solve this issue ?
@zeknigth Are you attempting a manual install of the firmware? If that is not working there are two potential issues. The cable is bad or the watch has a problem. I would contact support.
The same situation.
Suunto 9, original cable, tried to update with suuntolink.
Now suunto link doesn’t recognize my watch. And black screen on the watch, after trying to reboot it.
it’s ok. After full discharging and recharging my watch switched on. And the second attempt to update was successful!
