Suunto can't pair with HTC
-
Hi,
I have just switched from Samsung to HTC and was trying to pair my Suunto Wrist with the new device. I unpaired Movescount in Suunto in order to get the connection with the new phone. But when I was trying to pair them, after writing the code from Suunto to Movescount, I get “pairing failed” message on Suunto. Everything seems to be working fine Movescount sees Suunto and Suunto sees Movesecount. Airplane mode is off and Discovery on. Also, I went through the process of pairing several times so the passkey code I wrote in HTC was correct. Can you please help?

Hello,
Have you read manual before installing suunto app? There is clearly written that movescount should be uninstalled and app forgotten in the watch… -
Hi,
that’s what I did. I removed Movescount app in “paired devices” in Suunto and then installed Movescount app on the phone. Phone’s Bluetooth sees Suunto, I get the passkey, but when I write it in HTC I get “pairing failed” alert. I tried to restart both the phone and Suunto, reinstall Movescount, connect to some other device (which worked) but every single time after inserting passkey to HTC I receive “pairing failed” notification.
Any tips? -
@agnieszka suunto app and movescount app are two different applications, so which do not work for you? I’m a bit confused…

Hi,
I’m trying to pair Suunto Spartan Wrist watch with Movescount app on the phone. I was trying to connect Suunto watch with HTC both from the Bluetooth tab and directly from Movescount app but I always get the same error (after writing down the keypass I get this “pairing failed” alert). I’m afraid it’s something on the phone’s side. Is it possible that Suunto watch is not supported by HTC Desire 830? -
@agnieszka ok now it is clear for me, unfortunately this forum is dedicated for the new suunto app beta testing, so please contact customer support from movescount web page itself for help
