bike sensor and cadence
-
@mdzott i guess i have it for few years (more than 2). And as i said, every other indications are okey. the only problem is cadence. I wonder if it could be a mechanical damage, some kind of shift or something or the problem is in the software. Is there any way that I ticked it off or something?

@krzysztof-borkowski did you try with new battery in sensor? I had similar problems and battery change solved them. CR2032 if I’m not mistaken, cheaper than new sensor
-
@krzysztof-borkowski I seriously doubt it is the watch, most likely the sensor. You could contact support.

@brad_olwin @Likarnik Thx guys for your energy. Yes, battery was changed. The problem was/is with magnet. I took one from my wifes bike
Still, during ride I have no visualization of current cadence.

@Krzysztof-Borkowski Can I ask you, where in exercise menu on the watch the actual cadence should be displayed while cycling? Is there any Suunto App for it?

@Ars-Vitae said in bike sensor and cadence:

You can configure that yourself in the Suunto App. Below you can see an example of how I have customized this for the Indoor Cycling profile.

@Mads-Hintz-Madsen Thanks for your help. So basically there is no app or menu in cycling exercises dedicated to this parameter, I have to create it by myself. A little strange considering the existence of a dedicated Suunto bike sensor.

@Ars-Vitae there was a couple of years ago, that had cadence as data field (cycling - cadence, like currently you have cycling - power), but disappeared with FW update and there was nothing mentioned in release notes.
-
@Likarnik I appreciate the information. Thanks.

@Ars-Vitae I cycle but don’t record cadence. So what ever Suunto did would not be perfect for everyone.
Custom profile is the way to go. And very easy.
