Suunto Plus Climb (Hill training) and grade in %

@pilleus it works the same. And the behavior in slope incline is the same, under my experience. I had the same feeling. It would be a good addition if the vertical speed could be averaged faster when cycling. Not a big deal anyway (excepto in short, very steep slopes)

Now I could test the climb function of S+ on a S9 Peak and the responsibility is much better than on the S9B. It is fast and in my opinion nearly a little bit nervous. The sport mode was the predefined cycling mode with S+ climb activated.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

@pilleus
I’ve used the hill climb today to “play” a little bit with it again. (after using burner frequently…)
I noticed that the hill climb is very sensitive, especially for cycling in rolling terrain. (ok, I’ve had baro holes covering issue again today, that made it even more nervous…).
I’ve had autolaps activated and had the idea that either with hill climb the autolaps could be deactivated when activating S+? OR hill climb laps should appear in a different color.
also the hill climb lap screen shows the same data as autolaps… for hill climb I would expect different values.
But I think the lap screen itself is controlled by the activity, not by the S+ feature… even it would make sense to be controlled by S+and more important: I would love to be able to select several S+ features at a time. I would use hill climb AND burner

Same here!!!
At least selecting a Suunto Plus Guide + Suunto Plus Feature!!! -
@suzzlo wasn’t that already beta tested by suunto and proven to be to difficult for the watch to handle?
-
@dmytro that’s probably not coming to current watches, there’s not much resources available right now. But I’m not 100% sure and may be wrong.
-
@isazi that is what I meant.
-
-
@suzzlo I think s9p wasn’t necessary marketed as a successor more like a younger sibling.
-
@dmytro I’m not talking about mobile sagas, just about which HW include in a 2021 year.
According to my Google search:
- S9P was launched in June 2021
- S9 was launched in June 2018
They have different HW, at least Bluetooth had been updated, and I hope also memory and proccesor, so this is why I feel that S9P should be more capable than S9 and be able to run 2 Suunto Plus in parallel

would be nice, I’d appreciate and also use that frequently
with ambit we could use up to 5 apps… but I don’t want to dig around in the past and say that everything was better in ancient days -
@suzzlo you could be right - it also has smaller display resolution, so less stressful for the processor as well. We will see, how the things turn out I guess.

Hi, I can’t select the Climb Suunto plus app anymore on my S9 peak. It’s ok with Safe or Burner…but when I touch on Climb it doesn’t appear and the field Suunto plus is empty on the setting screen of my activity.
I tried to remove it from th watch with Suunto app but when I selected it again to put it in the watch, the problem remains the same on the watch. I see it but I can’t select Climb.Do you have something similar?

@Kramble
yes, it seems that @Tieutieu faces this issue frequently. not sure if it is still the case for @Tieutieu ?
