Spartan "invalid" altitude field
-
Hi all
got an issue with my spartan watch for a couple of weeks or so. Altitude is not computed anymore during trail/running session.
Going through movescount to configure the watch show “invalid” field (for any mode that include that info btw). Is there any way to fix this issue?
best regards,

Are you still using movescount ?
Maybe it’s due to that.I guess you need to read this

Hi @sartoric
Actually I tried both.
I also tried with the Suunto App, first completely reseting the watch then configuring a custom Sport Mode based on the Trail setting. From there I used a “Asc” field (I am interested in the relative elevation/ascention since the beginning of the activity, which used to work fine until very recently).
I don’t know what to do anymore.

@_link_ is your barometer working properly?

@isazi Sadly I got a Spartan Trainer Wrist HR thus no baro. Only GPS derived alt.
It looks like that asc is only computed if GPS precision is set to “Best”. This is a pitty. Even a relatively imprecise computation would be usefull.

Not really relative due to the misreading / misplacement
