Proposal -quite simple I guess- for improving the INTERVAL feature for uphill training
-
Hello,
I would like to be able to set up the following:
Repetition = 10
Interval duration = 1’30"
Recovery duration = 0Then, my S9B would wait for a button is pressed for starting the next interval.
It would be very useful for uphill training session when the downhill is used as recovery time (i.e. the distance ran during uphill is used as recovery period during the downhill)
Can Sunnto propose such improvement ?
Regards

@77alex77 you can also set repetition to 1 in your special case, and start the intervals multiple times.

@isazi Hello, yes this is what I do. But at the end of the workout, Sunnto app manages that as only one interval because each time I restarted the cycle the previous one was discarded. Also, when you start being tired, it is easy to forget how many intervals you have done. With the improvement I propose, the interval counter would be present.

@77alex77 well strange though, I do multiple interval sessions, ending one and then starting another, and they all are in the app.

@isazi : I will recheck for the app. The most annoying is for the counter. Uphill training is very hard for me (I’m a beginner) and it comes a time when I don’t know how many repetitions I did and how many it remains

Why don’t you use Suunto plus loop ? That’s what I do.
Of course the lap will contain the recovery but imo that’s part of the interval.

Hello.
I have checked for the app and indeed all the intervals are well listed and detailled. Thank you @isazi for your help.
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos : I’m not very familiar with the Suunto plus features, I will try “the loop” one as you have suggested. If it could do what I expect, it would be great. Thanks for your support.
