Arrow pointing down issue
-
Hi all,
I received as a gift a Suunto 9 Baro from an official reseller 2 weeks ago, all working well so far the watch is amazing. Last morning I did the update like recommended by the App. The same day 5 hours later my watch froze with this arrow and dots. I tried and followed every single steps and tips from Suunto app and website. Nothing is helping.
I contacted customer support, no answers. Nothing.
Does anyone experienced the same issue when all resets haven’t been successful?
The person who offered me the watch made a real sacrifice money wise to get me that watch and now it really sucks to see it not working properly ! -
@yoniaz hold the upper button to reboot the device. Hope this helps.

@yoniaz I had that problem once with my S9B and was solved with a reboot, as @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos suggests. Good luck!

Hi and thank you both for your replies
I did try the soft and factory reset. None of them worked. -
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos happened the very same to me this morning. Well, this is the first time I see this issue. After full discharge, I put it on charger and watch booted into this arrow screen. The soft reset procedure helped and watch recovered. However, I am afraid that such issue could occurs again. Therefore I sent logs to Suunto right after the issue. Not sure, if it makes any sense, but just for the case…Ref number is: 659216955100. Maybe it will helps also other users If not and investigating of the log makes no sense, then just forget it, please.
Thanks and have a nice weekend all! -
@zadow The same thing happened to me after full discharge, maybe the watch don’t like full discharge…

@zadow send me a message with watch, firmware version, and description of the issue, and I will fill in a bug with Suunto.
