Connecting my suunto 9 baro with my gopro

Hello all … after some time of silence I have a new question for you …
may be stupid but …
as there is a bluetooth in both side … is there a way to connect my Suunto 9 baro with my gopro and use my watch as a remote control ???
Ok I know some of you will tell me … there is already an home made remote control device which exists for gopro so why to use your watch …
Why not ???
if this was doable that mean I was having 2 ways to control my gopro … and in case I forget my gopro remote control … still I can drive it from some distance …

@mister-pyc there isn’t, at the moment at least.
But coros just released vertix 2 that can act as remote controller for insta cameras. So, definitely doable.
But I still wonder, whether suunto will prioritize this over some other features they’re working on.
But cool idea nonetheless!

@dmytro and Garmin watches could (still can?) control the Garmin VIRB cameras (not that there are many more of them out there nowadays).

There was no api so far at least for remotes etc

Thanks to the Suunto guys for the answer, in any case it is a super low priority … still nice to have as fun but low.
And … it is not because the competitors do it that one should do …
… we can put efforts elsewhere and get a better watch which differentiate from competition
