Suunto 9 baro. Retroilluminazione

@zek_ma I also have exactly the same issue with my Suunto 9 Baro (v2.16.26)
-
@sneakernet can you check what your backlight configuration is on your watch?
-
@isazi Settings > General > Backlight > Brightness (Low), Standby (Off), Raise to wake (Off).
-
@sneakernet with Standby off it should be off unless you press a button. Can you also try a soft reset (i.e. reboot) if that is not the case?
-
@isazi This was one of the first things I tried before posting my comment. (Suunto 9/ 9 BARO: long-press the upper right button for 12s and then release it)
-
@sneakernet my baro is at home at the moment so I cannot check, but I will get back to you later today.

You need to press the button until the screen shuts down, i do not remember if they are 12 o 15 seconds. I always wait until the screen goes blank.

@sneakernet tested with my baro now, with standby off and raise to wake off the light is off unless I press a button.
I’m using a different firmware though, so it’s either a bug still present in 2.16.26 and now fixed, or something that affects only few users and I can’t reproduce. -
@sneakernet one last thing to check, you do not have backlight enabled in the “shortcuts” menu, right?

No, the only way I fixed this bug was to Reset all settings via Suuntolink app.
