S9 change to Ultra mode during run - low battery - No GPS data from then on

@isazi Thanks a lot. I’ll get in touch with them. Thanks for the help!

I have been trying to replicate the bug with no luck, always get the track. Can you tell me which sport mode where you using, which if any S+ fields, configuration, etc.
I will keep trying.

Tried to reproduce this as well today.
Got a track for the whole activity. Had to calibrate the compass after switching to Ultra.
Don’t know what happens if you don’t do this. -
@egika I did run without calibration, and got a very good track anyway

@bradweber I attempted to reproduce this over the last weekend, switching modes and I have a GPS track for the entire hike. Is it possible that you lost GPS because you selected where satellites were not visible? This has been a suggestion.

@brad_olwin Well, I do not think so. GPS signal was fine. It also could be that watch got confused as I was switching between modes back and forth. Mostly, when we stopped somewhere and stayed there for longer time, I switched to Endurance and when we start moving again, switched it back to Performance. I agree that it is very hard to reproduce as most of the time it is working properly. I can guess only, but the problem occured probably twice.
Another thing could be that I am using custom sport mode for every activity. In the past, when any problem occured (mostly with multisport), it always helped to delete and recreate that custom activity again. So, I can guess only, it also could be connected with malfunctioning customized sport mode. I cannot prove that because I re-created it already… -
@zadow I will keep trying to reproduce it, so far no tester has been able to. If it happens to you, can you send logs with the app and send me a private message?

@bradweber did this happen in a aid station? I mean, did you switch to ultra inside the station?
