Waypoint bug(feature?)

Hi, I’ve noticed strange WP behaviour some time ago but only now do I understand what’s really going on.
So, if I’m configuring my training but not yet started or am in a training and have paused an activity, that all whilst using route navigation with WP, I get notified one I’m in WP proximity or what the next one is. In my view it’s a little odd, because I’m explicitly not in the training and don’t want to be bothered about WPs, but suunto may have a different opinion on this.
So, is it a bug or a feature? -
@dmytro I think this is because when on pause or preparation screen, the watch is on the same GPS settings as when in workout. It is tracking but not recording.

@łukasz-szmigiel sure, could be. Just wanted to point this out in case suunto overlooked it and so it can be corrected.

@mff73 it’s basically the same, just adding that it also has the same behaviour during a pause.
But yeah, it would be probably better if a moderator could merge those two or just close this one and I will duplicate the update there. -
