A beep (or few more) when the course end or unique POI is reached
-
No drawing today … sorry for that
Just this suggestion
Because I’m a dazed man … yes yes … It is the third time that I stop my watch …. after having driven back home … Instead having finished my mountain journey
So I can see a wonferdul route … from the mountain back to my bedA proposal here
**What if ???,
When you setup an exercices and you select a course or a single POI, the watch to vibrate and may be emit some beeps let’s say 2 or 3 minutes after the “ending” position was reached (so end of a course or the POI in case it was just one **Why 2 or 3 minutes and not jsut when the point is reached ?
Doing such it is not too early when just you are nearby but really after you arrived and took a small time to breath again so it also allow you to capture how you come back to normal hearth rate after the effort …
The beauty here is that although you forgot, you watch will not and let you know that she is still observing you for may be no more valuable reason
It should be super easy to put in place and may be a parameter of configuration that could be setup by default globally or – even better but a little bit more sophisticated – on th personalized exercice … Humm useless … better keep it simple => only once at global parameter is enough, then could be overpass just before we click on START

@pierre-yves-colle I think if you follow a predefined route you are notified when reaching the end, not sure about POIs. Also if you use TurnbyTurn functionality, you’ll get a beep upon reaching the end.
Also also if you follow a route and then go off route, if you start driving away for example, you will be notified with a message and a beep. -
The watch already does that. It beeps and vibrate, and even shows a notification, 100 meters before the end.

wahooo … so why am I forgetting this ??? may be too tired on the summit to realize
so may be a small “last chance” remembering 3 minutes later could be interresting … if easy to setup -
@pierre-yves-colle Ofcourse it’s easy :
if (tooTiredToHearBeap && notResponding > 3){ beepAgainButLouder() } else { beQuiet() }
I don’t understand why Suunto hasn’t implemented this feature already.

EXCELLENT !!!
Now … I should see where I place this code by myself
May be here I was asking something than no-one would like …
the problem might be in fact a little bit different … You setup an exercise which has neither POI not Route and in that case there is no alarm … so may be the good suggestion should be to setup an approximative TIME after which the watch will warn you … -
@pierre-yves-colle I am going to close this as there are beeps for waypoints, POIs and end of route (destination).
