Suunto Spartan Sport Wrist HR Baro won't turn on

Hello everyone,
A friend with a SUUNTO Spartan Sport Wrist HR Baro had this problem: the watch it ha been working perfect, battery duration also perfect, but suddently this weekend he put to charge and during the charge the screen turned off and never turn on again.
He already try press for 12 seconds the upper right button to reset but not response.
Any other test that he can do before try to reach a Service Office?

Maybe the cable is gone and it just discharged ?Try another cable or usb port or computer

@flypg also my Spartan has some problems with cable connection (after 4 years). I usually need to charge this way
