      Hello,
      I’m not a fun of having 24h the Bluetooth on.
      Switch the device in airplane mode is not easily reachable.
      It would be nice to have it in the shortcut (for example).
      At the moment you have to enter 3 menus, switch on the airplane mode and go back to main screen.
      This procedure needs to be repeated every time you want to connect your watch with your smartphone.

        @friente
        despite it has very little until not recognizable impact to battery life… why do you want to avoid having bluetooth disabled?

        I agree that the menu is very static and it has been requested from some users to make it more customizable (including myself… many times). not only the settings menu but also the order of: HR, stress recovery, steps, training, alti, sleep tracking and fitness level…

        but I tell you a little secret: it is what it is and the chance that it stays how it is is bigger than the chance of an improvement… at least in this generation 😉

          I know very well that there is not a remarkable impact on battery life. My request is related to radiation exposure.
          I use the Suunto 9 Bluetooth exclusively for syncing data.
          The problem is that went turning off the airplane mode, you have to go back to the main screen to initiate the sync process.
          Once syncing is completed, reach again the airplane mode menu to switch it on again and go back to the main screen.
          This is very annoying…

            @friente
            yes it is, I notice this myself.
            Users should be able to have hot-keys that they can customise 👍
            I must admit, I don’t worry too much about radiation… but I understand why people prefer to avoid it. the studies around this topic could be economy adapted 🙊

              @friente to be able to interact with matter the wavelength should be in the same order as it’s of atoms. Now, wavelength of Bluetooth is 2.4 GHz which roughly translates to 30cm. I don’t think you should worry about it. And if you’re referring to the Lorentz force beeing exerted on the electrons of our body, the power transmitted through it is negligible to that of visible radiation ie light.

                @friente do you also stay out of the sun your whole life? It emits a lot of radiation!

                  maybe a sunscreen for bluetooth and 5g would be a good cash cow

                    @egika @Дима-Мельниченко @freeheeler ,

                    I have opened this post only for asking for a straightforward way to customize shortcuts and in particular having airplane mode easily accessible.
                    Other comments were not requested! Thanks

                      I think it’s nice that you request it, because this is my opinion, too. It is also my opinion that for S9B this is never going to happen… ever…

                      Actually I liked the little lesson from @Дима-Мельниченко because I am not too familiar with the physics of radiation, wave length etc and it’s always nice to learn something new 👍

                        In public forum, a little dose of humour can make read some answers differently 😉.
                        Even if I may also feel like @Egika, sun is way harder for health that we may imagine.

                            Dear @egika ,
                            absolutely yes! My aim was not to go out of scope from the original question about the Shortcuts customization.

                            That said everyone is absolutely free to say and write whatever they want.
