Update time in Europe?
-
@macdav that is a very good question. When I did android work we used staged rollouts on our beta releases. I honestly can’t remember ever defining anything other than the percentage split. So I’m not sure how they choose people. Might be different for an update like this anyway.
-
@macdav well. I’m in Norway, and I’m getting my update now!
-
@aleksander-h we expect you to provide us with pictures of the new watch face
-
@isazi The old “trick” of tapping the ‘Watch is Up to Date’ screen repeatedly for about 15 seconds seems to force the update.
Downloading for me in UK too.
-
Joaquin Pérez posted a video about the Suunto 7 update on youtube:
-
@aleksander-h well, after tapping here in the Czech republic, it works. I´m updating.
-
@nigel-taylor-0 thank you! that worked for me I couldn’t wait my turn hehe
-
It looked a lot more colorful on the preview
-
@aleksander-h if it is like for S9, these outdoor watch faces need some GPS before being able to display data.
-
@isazi app sync is what was needed. Changed as soon as it completed :).
-
@aleksander-h now send a new updated picture
-
Also working tap method from Spain!
Admins I suggest you to create the proper post to comment the Update -
-
@qwert12 they probably think the update has been discussed to death at this point
-
@aleksander-h yup
-
yeah - downloading as I post.
-
@qwert12 you are free to start a new topic if there is something specific you want to discuss
-
I can’t believe this worked, downloading it right now. Thanks!
-
Got the update already in the UK and really liking it so far
I’m looking forward to seeing it populated with data

I’d be curious to know if we are now filling up that 10% slot for today? Will the trick stop working if enough people try it during the first day ?
It is actually quite a clever trick to implement. The people doing this are probably among the more tech interested users out there, and will therefore also be those best equipped to handle/report unexpected errors.
