I have a couple of sport modes where I have a custom battery mode with display off. Just because I use the watch for tracking instead of guidance and this gives you a few extra hours of battery in Performance mode.

Sometimes, during such an activity, I select a POI to navigate to. In this mode, the display also goes off after 10 seconds. So if I navigate, I have to adjust the battery custom mode to keep the display on.

In some sport modes I know that if you select the Ultra battery mode, it changes to Performance if you select the navigation screen and back to Ultra if you move away from that screen.

      This got me thinking.
It would be a nice option to automatically keep the display on while you’ve selected a navigation screen and when you move away from that screen, your watch will turn off the display after 10 seconds again. This prevents changing battery profiles every time.

@surfboomerang I enable the same setting for all other sport modes than the ones I use for navigation precisely because of this.

Would be a very slick feature to enable the option.
