Can I connect multiple sensors?
-
@gerbow11 you can connect one hr stap and one pod/bike sensor at a time. However good to know is also that s9 can only remember one sensor of each type. Hope that helps!
-
@дима-мельниченко so how do you measure cadence and power for analysis? You can’t?
I suppose work around would be cycling head unit for bike only stats - power/cadence/speed.
-
@gerbow11 I’m not sure about this, since I only use cadence data for cycling. But as far as I understand you can either have speed/cadence data or powermeter. Maybe somebody with more experience can confirm?
-
@дима-мельниченко great. Thank you for your reply.
-
@gerbow11 you can pair one sensor of each type (4 types: HR, power, bike pod, run pod) per watch, but you can use the 4 different paired sensors together.
So no two hr, or two power meters, but one of each.
The only issue being with the bike pod, you need one that transmits both speed and cadence if you need both, because you can only pair one bike pod. -
@isazi oh perfect, I wasn’t sure about this!
-
@isazi great thanks. That would work nicely. In the winter when I use my smart trainer will it connect for power speed and cadence too? It is an elite drive.
-
@gerbow11 that I don’t know, never had a smart trainer.
-
@gerbow11 unfortunately no, I have Elite Direto X and my S9B only gets power as it is paired as power pod. No speed/cadence/distance data. I have Suunto Bike Pod paired and used simultaneously, so I get power and cadence data… I hope this gets sorted in future…

@likarnik okay. Thanks.
