Resources - high drop after a walk

It’s a bug that was and is present in s5p, s9p and s9 with latest firmware, but there is a workaround.

@André-Faria thanks for the info but it doesn’t work. I have tried different resting heart rate values but with the same result. I also think that correct resting heart rate should work buy default and not to find a work around. It is something wrong with the algorithm. It worked just fine before 2021 but after an update the resource drops to zero or close to. And it only happens if you do an activity in the morning/ before lunch. If I don’t do an activity before lunch the resources works just fine.

Thanks for the info. May help Suunto debug the issue. But if not mistaken this algo was from first beat.

This is one of the reasons I stopped using my 9PP for 24/7 tracking. My resources never seemed ‘correct’ and I would quite often be at zero after just a day at work.

@André-Faria if you want I can provide with more info. Let me know if it’s needed.

I don’t , ambit 3 doesn’t have that hehe.
When I had devices with that function I found annoying that behavior. 15min breathing or stretching in the morning was enough to drop resources. -
@wakarimasen I have the same experience with resources. I’m not sure what it is supposed to do. It’s neither accurate nor useful in its current state. When you combine that with weak sleep tracking capabilities compared to Garmin or Apple, I’m a bit underwhelmed at the current state.

@seanvk Same for me, frustratingly. I love the look of the watch and the functionality otherwise. The app is great too. I am convinced that the ‘lifestyle’ data (sleep tracking and resources etc.) is not reliable, because there is not enough data collected vs other companies.

I feel the same. My 9pp ohr readings compared to my H10 are totally wrong. So any data produced from the crazy ohr I get is not reliable. Garbage in, garbage out.
