@ianpet some extra helpful info:

@freeheeler great I just did that will that save more of my battery
-
@ianpet
I don’t know the power saving mode very well as I don’t use it. But the manual says that power saving will switch off 24/7 HR. Hence I don’t expect a difference.
Try to observe if your watch is doing funny things maybe to your phone? No drain on that side? -
@freeheeler so I shud leave on the heart monitor sencors
-
@ianpet ok I did a test from 20:00 to 22.00 iv went from 26% to 24%
-
@ianpet It is not clear to me what you enabled/disabled and how you use the watch at this moment because you are constantly feeding us fragments of information.
So to be able to help you further please read the manual I sent you and do a multi day test from 100% to 0% where you give us a full overview of what settings are enabled and what settings are disabled. Both on watch mode as during activity recordings.
For an example, see my previous post.

@surfboomerang ok I understand sorry I waisted all yer time
-
@ianpet
it’s not a waste of time, everyone is responsible for him/herself how much he/she contributes in this forum
but of course if you deliver as much info as possible at once we get to the finishline without going slalom first -
@freeheeler ok I understand now can I ask another question not battery related
-
@ianpet of course! But search the forums first as it might well have been answered before.

@cosmecosta said in Battery duration:
No, impossible. I get around 9 days without notifications, 24h or sleep tracking and around 6/8 of GPS with belt.
In the past I would usually get 0.23-0.25%/hour with all extra options turned off (no 24/7 HR, notifications, or sleep tracking) but with the watch syncing only on demand to Movescount app. That translates to 5.5-6%/day or about 16-18 days without using GPS.
This was over a year ago. My experiments at the time showed that connecting the watch to Suunto App almost doubled the battery usage rate. I guess it is probably not as bad now, but continuous sync over Bluetooth does drain the battery. Even if there are no activities to sync it still has to sync steps, etc.

@sky-runner I can’t recall which version it was exactly but this problem was fixed a while ago. If I remember correctly the device does not do a full sync everytime now.
