I bought my 9 off ebay and while it was advertised as a baro, I have a feeling it isn’t. I don’t have the screen with any of the altitude, baro pressure, etc. I also dont see anything on in the about page or on the back that indicates its a baro model. The model # is OW183 on the back, and it says GEN1 as well. Can anyone confirm the BARo says its a Suunto 9 BARO in the about page for me? Or check the back of theirs to see if its a different model # / gen?

@james-wylie you can tell its a baro because it will have the temperature/baro sensor on left side; they should have included a photo with this as a key attribute. has five holes for the air to enter the sensor in a circular pattern.

Confirmed then - non-baro. Sigh. Thanks all.

@james-wylie I’m confident in saying you should be able to request a return via EBay, not only because the item isn’t as described, but you probably paid over the odds as a result. Certainly in the UK you’d be covered by law for having been missold something.
