always altitude information in sports mode
-
I miss altitude information during activity. I know I can set up my own sports profile. But I like the preinstaled ones. One suggestion is to add the information to the “breadcrumb” window.

hmm… I’m not sure if Suunto has an ear for a request for a feature that is actually there. And depending on the sport mode I think it is by default, isn’t it? -
@bktoo It is present in all trail modes, ski touring, etc. If you want a running mode (not trail running) just create one. I am not in favor of having this on breadcrumb screen. If you load a route it is on the altitude profile as well.

@brad_olwin thanks for the reply, but I can not find this information about altitude above sea level. As a rule, only accumulated height is specified in the pte instaled sportsmode.

Look better .
In hiking pré-installed mode
And in trail running mountain mode
Not at the same place, but well there.
Btw, the request of adding one data field on breadcrumb view (not only altitude) has already been done, but never implemented.

@mff73 Thank you very much, I was not aware that there were several choices during the various activities. It helps a little, but I would have been very happy if I could always answer the question of height when I’m on a trip. be it skiing, running, cycling and everything else I do. It’s a little embarrassing and could not do it when wearing an expensive outdoor watch.

And why don’t you want to create your own sportsmode ? you have paid this expensive feature, and you can add Altitude everywhere in your customs fields mode. For sure, you cannot add it on breadcrumb window, but almost everywhere else.
Pre-installed modes are to begin quickly to make sports instead of making customization, but after, customization exists (for the current price of the watch ) -
@mff73
the really only reason I see to do so is when you fear factory reset and you have to setup all the sport modes again since they are still not backed up like they were in MC.I have to confess that all my sport modes look very similar while the differences are only where it’s reasonable e.g. pace for running and speed for cycling.
I am used to where to find what information and hence the datafields are located at the same spot throughout the different sport modes, but I am sure my memory will fail if I had to set it up again.
It is now with S-line setup and SA like it was with the early Android versions when you needed a phone reset or switched to a new phone …it is to be done manually piece by piece -
@mff73 On my Ambit I had my own setup, but I’m starting to get lazyAnd then I do so many different sports. One possibility is to add height information into the pull-up menu in the breadcrumbs window?

You can always have altitude information! There are multiple examples where you now know this and many have answered you. You can also easily create your own sport modes. What is clear is that you do not like the implementation. You are welcome to suggest what you want implemented or vote for a suggestion. Since your question has been answered multiple times I am going to close this thread.
