Manuel coordinates to a POI on S9
-
Is it possible to get a POI on S9, when you only have the coordinates of the point?
-
@bktoo Not on the watch directly. Only by syncing with a POI created in the Beta version of the Android App.
-
@fenr1r thank’s. So only on Android, not in iOS?
-
@fenr1r in the beta version for Android you can plot the coordinates manually?

No sign whatsoever, so far, in iOS. Happy to be corrected by someone else in the know, tho’.EDIT: corrected. Not happy, tho’, strangely enough.

You create a POI by tapping on a map location (having downloaded relevant tiles for offline use if necessary). Then you can edit the POI’s details (Name, Coordinates …). Not straight entry but it apparently works.

Seems that iOS beta version has POI screen but not yet real management.
I read somewhere that it is for next version. -
@mff73 I sit corrected. Reckon they’ll finish it off in the next six days to keep some form of custom-named point for iOS Spartans?
