Suunto 7 - Impossible to add a Google account with Wear OS
-
Another user said he/she had issues with this white page, and solved by temporarily ndisabling two factor auth.
-
-
Disable 2 factor authentication -> add the account and enable it again.
Google issue.
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos Not working for me, 2FA was already disabled when I tried. I have also disabled the autentication ‘Use your phone to sign in’.
No ideas how to proceed
-
In the past there were some problems with accounts using ...@gmail.com …
Try to change it to ...@googlemail.com … you can do it in your Google account.
May be this will help?
-
@pilleus Not sure it’s still possible to change.
I’ve searched my account setting and couldn’t find anything. -
@david-fittizio when entering your account on the watch don’t use gmail, use googlemail.
-
@jamie-bg Can’t do it…when I enter the address the phone shows the error “account already existing”.
UPGRADE: I got to add my account using my girlfriend’s iPhone…funny google works better with competitors then itself!
By the way, the difference i noticed is that during the configuration wizard, with iPhone there is the step when the watch is connected to the WiFi… maybe that’s the deal! -
This does seem to be an anomaly and not the norm.
I have set up my watch with four different Android phones, each time I add two Google accounts (my personal one and my photography one) and both have 2FA.
Never had an issue.

Agree!
That seems odd to me too…as soon as I have time, I’ll format my phone and try again.
Let you know.
