S9B - "Endurance" GPS Start

Used the endurance battery mode today for the first time. VERY impressed by the level of accuracy on my run with it.
Question though - I have Pace, Lap Pace, Lap Duration configured on my screen. When I started my run, Pace and Lap Duration began but the Lap Pace field did not populate until about .15 - .2 miles into my run. Is this normal?
I do not have auto laps configured. Overall GPS was really good but was missing about that amount for the overall reported distance at the end.
@Brad_Olwin you ever see anything like this?
Screenshot shows estimated instant pace and lap average pace trying to catch back up (instant pace started at about 8min/mile and got faster from there)

@stromdiddily honestly I never tried it, BUT there are other watches like Apple Watch which do the same. They need some data to calculate the lap avg pace. In my opinion, it is totally ok.

Yes, same experience, so i guess it is normal. in fact, calories are the other fields that also calculated somewhere after 5-10 minutes in endurance mode
