Suunto 9 GPS optimization fail, Wrong altitude
-
@Runner Check the GPS track, mine was way off and so was my altitude. There is clearly a problem with AGPS, this is a Sony issue. It is not a problem with the watch. Reboot the watch to clear the cache.

@Brad_Olwin I checked and it was a bit off. Today it worked good. But I’m just nit sure, if I should try to solve somehow the problem with the GPS optimizatio, or just wait

I also got 2 days in a row with barometer spikes during the activity.
The strange thing is that I see the spikes only on the watch graph. A fast drop afterwards causes a storm alert.
The JSON file however doesn’t show the spike at all. ?!? -
There is an issue with sony atm hold on

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos is this just a Sony chipset problem? Yesterday I was able to record an activity with a Garmin device but not with my Spartan. After 15min looking for GPS, I finally returned to watch mode…

@suzzlo I assume it is Sony. Started yesterday on my S9, too. First kilometer (approx) was a disaster, than the track stabilized. Today the same with a different activity (biking instead of running).
At the same time my wife’s S5 was spot in. -
@Shrek3k ahh ok, my problem was trying to find GPS (it should be another problem)
-
Yes please see the other post. Garmin , polar and suunto have this issue atm

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos roger roger, nice to be Spartan user
