On that, I am out of my depth. But I suspect it depends on the specific water sports - you’re best off searching the forum for mentions of your own preferred activities. IIRC, there are a bunch of folks here with specific issues on touchscreens, stroke counting, paddling sports modes, sailing navigation and probably other things. Off the top of my head, @Jamie-BG has weighed in with some authority recently.
Happy hunting

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Set countdown time for 5min then waiting for the sequence start signal. Start countdown timer. Second signal is on 4 min mark if your watch shoes discrepancies you can adjust to 4 min by pushing up or down button depends if you are to early or late. Also, you ned to hear signals for every minute as well as last minute every 10 s and the last 10 s for every second and multi bipping when 0.;

@Artem-Lavrynenko check @Fenr1r response. This post here https://forum.suunto.com/post/63052

@Artem-Lavrynenko - forgot who makes it, but there is a very, very nice timer and GPS tracking display unit that you can put on your boat that does all of this, which might be the best way to go considering that sailing starts are so specialized.
