@Алексей-Омельченко sorry for misspelling Arta Sports and Amer Sports

@Алексей-Омельченко said in Closing of Movescount is delayed further to 2021:
@pavel-samokha Some Chinese structures called Arta Sports bought Amer Sports in 2018 or 2019. And they decided to develop new direction for suunto (Suunto 7 and 5 etc). Hope you won’t get shocked that much
?? Google does not know anything about this

@kabzior
if you want to import SA activities in MC, you can use Syncmytracks Android for example. But if you love MC after that, you will become sad when/if it disapear -
@Алексей-Омельченко it’s really sad, that you can’t read public info properly. Amer Sports was bought but international consortium including Anta Sports, Tencent and Lululemon founder. It didn’t affect Suunto operations.
Suunto 5, 7, Suunto App projects had been started long time before acquisition of Amer Sports. -
Hi guys,
I’ve reading the post and some comments are not in the line of helping each other, respect for other and yourself and what this community is.
So if any new post is in that wrong line I will edit it in order to end discussion of false or miss leading conversations.

Thanks.
iOS here I will look for some alternative.
Too bad they did not give an option of uploading files.But if you love MC after that, you will become sad when/if it disapear
That’s the risk I’m willing to take

@kabzior
For iOS, some are using rungap -
There is no possibility in SA of setting individual heart rate zones for A3 Sports watches. What kind of “Digital service transition” can be a question at all?

@schrbox
I guess you need to read this : https://forum.suunto.com/topic/5247/how-to-use-suunto-services-sync-routes-customize-sport-modes-for-ambit-traverse-and-traverse-alpha-with-suunto-app -
@sartoric there is no answer for my problem why SA ignoring individual pulse zones that I got setup threw Movescount service

Nice app, thanks.
But it looks like it can only import from MC, not export to it. -

Ok, so your problem is not setting the zones but review the HR data in SA

@kabzior which services do you want to sync? Maybe I can help

Thanks for confirming that, i thought i was blind, and i did not want to believe that you can not modify your HR zones in a sport tracker…

@André-Faria man, the bugs (in Suunto 9 which was new and topmost one year ago) were reported one year ago. After that, I received a feedback, they promised to fix them “maybe some time in the future”. The future is not here, though…
What bugs?

I would like to try Movescount, so I am trying to send my activities there. Activities are stored now in Suunto App (and in Strava and Endomondo since I sync SA with this services). I use S9B.
-
@kabzior I could be wrong but I believe that once you have set up your SA account and synced your S9B, you cannot sync Moves to Movescount. There is not too much point in trying as it would be only a winter dalliance: the Movescount web service is going to be “sent to live on a farm” next year.
There’s not much in analysis terms that MC will do for your S9B activities that SA/QS won’t. And MC hasn’t had altitude for routing for a while, nor is there any sign of its imminent return.
It still does POIs … but they are promised for SA, so if you’re not in a hurry for that …

Hello,
Thanks for this news !!
I have a Suunto Ambit 2, this is a really good and strong watch, perfect !
For the next year, I thinking to buy a new one, Suunto 9 probaly, not Suunto 7 due to google OS. But clearly, in case of Movescount will be delete, I should buy a Garmin for sure.I love Movescount for those reasons:
- Tags function (used to follow material usage : shoes, tires, bike chain)
- Analysis of run by web interface (select part of run, then analyse : speed, time, power, heartrate, …)
- Only one website to track my activities, to set my watch and prepare new trace.
Are you able to update “Sport Tracker” in same way as Movescount ??
Regards,
-

Don’t get me wrong - I am not trying to switch from SA to MC, I just wanted to take a look on what I am missing. I still want to use SA and that is why I am not even considering removing SA and installing MC, I just wanted to upload my existing activities to MC and take a look on stats.

I was hoping mainly for Personal Bests history/analysis since I can not find it anywhere (without subscription).

you can sync Sports-Tracker with Movescount. I’m sure the sync goes from MC to Suunto app but I’m not sure if goes from ST to MC
I don’t think so, in description it says data goes only in one direction MC -> ST
