S7 Staged release

Thank you @Bulkan for this info
-
Anyone can share a track with fusedtrack on?
-
Anyone having an issue with the Diary on the watch - I currently find it unusable.
Directly after tracking, or even after the watch has synced the activity to the phone I have major lag when trying to view the details of diary activities.
The watch loads all activities without any issue and when you press on one it loads it fine. The issue is with scrolling down the detail - as soon as you hit a graph and or table there is major lag and stutter and the watch struggles to move down to show the graph and or table, plus it often doesnât position the table properly in the middle of the screen, makes it look cut off. Prior to the update this used to be as smooth and fluid as water.
Hopefully this can be resolved ASAP.

No lag for me when scrolling through the details of past moves in the diary for me.
Maybe try a reboot? -

@LuĂs-Pinto do you need fit file or just a link to suunto app?

@LuĂs-Pinto you are welcome. Today I will repeat the same track but with new firmware and 1 second
-
@jorgefd78 wow, impressed!
-
@jorgefd78
Hi, how comes we see your app data on a windows pc ?
thx Tom -
for your plesure. you can compare both tracks and play with them
-
@jorgefd78 first I got a perfect 10s-fix track yesterday and then on the next ride I got this with cycling
-
@Egika fusedtrack is based in arm movement so I suppose the algorithms while running are better than cycling
-
@jorgefd78 probably. In cycling the arm moves much less.
-
@jorgefd78 same day. morning perfect, afternoon bad.
Suunto is marketing this new fused track to work with both running and cycling.The track looks like the FusedTrack algo tried to always steer away and got caught by the GPS point regularlyâŠ
FusedTrack does not necessarily need to rely on arm movement. It is basically integration of direction and acceleration. this can work with any sports in theory - while in practice Suunto has calibrated it for running (and cycling?) primarily.
I am just saying that the claim ârunning and cyclingâ does have room for improvement for cyclingâŠ
-
personally wouldnât use it for cycling as would think that a 10s reading could cause issues like this due to the distance that can be covered. Slower sports like walking, running, SUP etc should be fine. Also not sure I would use it for hiking either due to evelation issues and area definition where you may need to make dramatic adjustments for features.
Though is a bit surprising on this track as it is so straight.
-
@Egika - Great suggestion - quite right - a reboot sorted the issue.
