Display of the barometer value hPA
-
Hi, is there any possibility to display also the barometer value in the Sailing Sportmodus , even better also in the standard watch modus ? When I am sailing the altitude value is useless, but of course the barometer value is very important
-
@dems19n0 yes, of course.
You can add the barometric pressure in your customized sailing sports mode both as a data field or a graph. -
On Ambit watches yes, but also on Spartan and S9 baro?
-
Probably not
-
@surfboomerang in my S7 it’s like this.
S9 I can check later -
@dems19n0 For my SSU … via Movescount Settings (NOT Suunto App - that might offer more)
Watch mode - nope. You can’t add values to the tap-to-change fields and not even the Outdoor face includes barometer readings. The dedicated Environment display automatically returns from Barometer to Alt/Temp, then Time after a bit.
Sports modes: Haven’t tried every one but it doesn’t look like it. Certainly not Sailing. Can’t see pressure as an available data field value in any list. One doesn’t seem to be able to add graphs to custom Sports modes and I couldn’t find a default with a pressure graph that you could rebadge.
You could try checking all the Sports Mode defaults in case something’s hidden in Cheerleading or Kettlebell, etc. But I doubt it.

@Egika
Unfortunately I know the answer already
Voted for it almost 2 years ago, but no luck.@surfboomerang said in Features for Suunto S9 - Choose Top 3:
- Barometer graph in sports mode
- Barometer value/trend in watch face
- Notification number/indicator on primary watch screen instead of the secondary screen. Now I have to press 2 times the middle button to see if I have any missed notifications.
-
@surfboomerang about notifs idk… But the rest is well supported.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos just checked the S9. No data field nor graph for barometric pressure possible. That’s a bummer! The data is there in the watch…
S7 can do it! -
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I checked in once more in Suunto App and on my S9 Baro, but I am unable to find any datafield that shows pressure. Also a graph display in sports mode isn’t an option. and Barometer trends in the watch face…couldn’t find it.
