      I went kayaking today with route in watch as I needed a waypoint for weir location (POI would be enough but well, you can’t do that yet). From the workout start screen I went to options, navigation, select the route. From the route screen I accepted the route with top right button which… opened the navigation straight away - it didn’t get back to options as it normally would and it behaved as if the navigation (like not navigation in workout but outside workout) was invoked instead of workout screen. Also, it didn’t start the workout - there were no workout screens, just breadcrumb and elevation screens (like in regular navigation).

      I was able to hold middle button to get into options (which strangely had all the workout related options like hr on off, auto laps, etc. listed), and from the navigation options I cycled back to default return path instead of route navigation which sent me to start screen as expected.

      I was unable to add the route this way (from the workout start screen) so I’ve started the workout (with default return path), went to navigation screen, cycled down the options and choose the route I wanted. This time it was added to workout as expected.

      Also, while the OHR was working and I received HR zones totals - there’s no HR chart available in SA or any other linked application (Strava, Runalyze, QS). This is minor as it might be related to paddling which is troublesome for OHR. However, I remember only one moment when HR went up dramatically, it generally stayed in Z1 as it should for such easy activity and was around 90 - 100 bpm so I find this behavior weird.

      After finishing the workout I wanted to recreate the bug but this time it worked as expected - it allowed me to add the route from workout start screen and after selecting the route that I wanted, I was sent back to options, which is normal.

      What might be also important is that it was the first time I’ve used this particular sports mode (added to watch and personalized yesterday, first run today).

      I’m on 2.11.38.

      PS: What’s the difference between two kayaking modes - with one paddle and two paddles on the icon? For future workouts - which might be more appropriate for general rafting events?

        Known issue fixed.

        Steps to repro.

        Go to activity prestart screen

        Turn off ohr. (or on)

        Go to navigation

        Select a route

        Navigation starts.

        Solution:

        Turn off ohr , start the activity pause , select route.

          @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos wow that was fast. If fixed I assume it’ll be delivered with next fw?

              @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos cool.

              Thanks for mentioning steps to reproduce. In fact - I did turn off hr belt as the watch was struggling to lock on to my hr with ohr (which never happens) so I thought maybe it stubbornly wants to connect to hr belt which was impossible at that time. Only after that I thought meh to hell with hr, it’ll figure it out anyway sooner or later and I proceeded to load the route.
