Suunto 9 Baro elevation malfunction

Hi, my Suunto 9 Baro started to miscalculate elevation of my moves a few days ago. It recorded way too little compared with the Strava value after their elevation adjustment. Today I realized that it also shows me as being at -93m altitude when I should be at around 200m. I tried a soft restart to no avail. What else can I do? I read something about putting the watch in a fridge, what does that do? Thanks in advance!
