Connect Spartan watch to Garmin Explore

As I am cycling a lot I bought a bikecomputer from Garmin. Now I want to use my Suunto Spartan watch as a HR sensor. Is it possible to connect those two?

As far as I know this is not possible. Suunto watches, and I think other brands as well, can’t live broadcast HR.
