GPS on Suunto 9 baro is horrible
-
I have been running the same 5k route through not very dense forest (some may call it a park) for couple of years now with different watches, but suunto 9 baro, the most expensive one is a huge dissapointment. It steals between 300 to 500 meters from each 5k run. It is way to much. I connect and sync gps before every run, tried all of the programs (beidou, galileo, glonass). Nothing works. Im in Western Poland (Central Europe). I dont know what else to do… any suggestions? “Dont do forest runs” does not count

@Lukasz-Berdowski hi and greetings from Poland
Can you show us some screens from faulty routes for judgement?
Have you tried just plain GPS?
Can you double check if you’re using performance GPS mode and not endurance for example?

@Lukasz-Berdowski
and another question: did you use the search function of this forum?
we have some threads already that deliver enough material for an “S9 GPS is bad” phd thesis -
… and since there are several threads about it, I’m locking this one to avoid duplicates.
