Watch hanging during update.

I’m trying to update my watch to V2.8.32 but it seems to be stuck.
Suuntolink starts the update, the 2nd dot on the progress meter on the watch blinks and then my computer makes a couple of “device disconnect and reconnect” beeps.
After that Suuntolink displays an error message that the device needs to be reset, Ik click “OK” and the whole thing starts all over again.
It’s been at this for half an hour with no improvement.
I’ve already tried a soft reset to force the update to start from scratch but the watch won’t even do a reset.
Any help would be appreciated. -

Which model do you have?
Maybe it could be worth to contact support directly. -

@Evertb Maybe the cable is faulty.

Note that the watch also won’t do a soft reset when it’s not connected. -
Just had a quick call with Suunto support.
1 minute of troubleshooting:
Does it hang? Yes
Have you tried resetting it? Yes
Did that work? NoHave to ship it to their repair centre now.
