what are recommended 3rd party apps for work out data?

Privacy is a priority. I don’t share the data. But maybe it would be nice to be able to share only with a small approved list of people.

I am saddened that I have to look. It feels like a massive inconvenience. I’ve been waiting around for 1.5 or 2 years or whatever hoping that Suunto would change its mind, either keep Movescount or make Suunto App full featured (including web interface). But judging all the comments that is unlikely, and it looks like I really need to come up with a backup plan. I am really uncertain which way to go.

I’ve loved the watch. Except the heart rate straps seem short lived. I was on the verge of just buying another strap, but I realize maybe I should come up with a longer term plan instead.

I could not agree more. They just share data to milion app ( if you allow), and they do not make their own (web with android-slow development). Ultra superb hardware with ultra bad SW. I already have my backup plan, do not know about you. However I look I have used last suunto 9 for 20 months ( I am suunto user for 9 years) and this is good and now is maybe time for changes

Well, if you are reading thru this forum, for sure you are aware of QS platform developed by no one else than great @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos .
Well, the analytics platform which definitely is worth to give a try is Runalyze, which is run by @mipapo .

I am using both of them and I am more than happy. 🙂

          Suunto Smart Sensor
          Wahoo Tickr FIT

You are correct also 🙂 Both app are fantastic. Just this fragmentation and inconsistency and design changes between apps. There should be one design for web app and android. And yes. both two apps will not be free forever (I guess). because a lot of efford has been put into, but suunto app is only one we ‘paid’ for and it suck

              Thanks for the two suggestions.

I mentioned I was saddened, but mostly I’d like to focus productively on what the replacement can be. So, any other suggestions from anyone, to diversify the list?

Is it possible to connect the Suunto watch to Garmin Connect? If it means anything, I have a inReach I pay monthly for, maybe that would give the ability to start an account.
