      Hi there

Sorry if this has been answered many times before, but I cannot find it.

Is it possible to go back to the ordinary watch face during an activity? On my Garmin Fenix watch I can swap between watch face and activity monitor during an activity, but on Suunto it seems to me you are stuck only to the activity fields while recording an activity?

Similar question, is it possible to go back to the ordinary watch face when an activity is paused? This is also a feature I miss from Garmin, where I usually tracked my hike to work, paused during my workday, then resumed the activity after work. With Garmin, you can display the ordinary watchface when the activity is paused, while with Suunto it seems you are stuck with the Resume/End-screen which is not good for long breaks… Any solutions I have not understood?

      Best regards
      Lars

Just to comment, are you aware that you consume battery if you stay in “pause” this long? Because while in pause on both Garmin and Suunto GPS and sensors are active (don’t know if the rate of update is lower though). Garmin has the “resume later” option that can be better for your use case. As for your S9, I would actually save the activity and record a new one after work.

Thanks for your replies @Saketo-Nemo and @isazi

I guess I have to change my routines then. Hopefully Suunto will make a Resume later-function in the future.
