      Hi, I struggle with always low resources. Even after 7-9h sleep I never hit more than 40-50%. Yes, my life is busy and stressful, and lately, it’s difficult to perform any training. Any tips on how could I get a better result? Should I change resting HR from day to day to get good data?

      I know I shouldn’t trust data 100%, but before I got S9 and more data to work with I was ALWAYS tired, pushing myself to limits. In long-distance it was pretty bad for my body, that’s the main reason why I have a focus on “body resources”.

        @Gabriela-Ziemba Hey hi,

        this has been dicussed here a couple of times.

        Short answer, increase your resting HR, as perhaps you have set it to the min HR

          I got it now. How often should I eventually change it, since I have to do it manually? Do you know if it will be automatic in future software?

            @Gabriela-Ziemba good point on this.
            Since it’s very prone to error though I would suggest personally to change that lets say once per month. Resting HR only drops the more fit you become (as of persisting)

            I have transferred the feedback for rest HR auto-detection some time ago to Suunto 😄

                @dimitrios-kanellopoulos Optical HR monitors are just not reliable. I think it would be a good feature if the S9 “Daily HR” could use an external HR monitor such as the Polar H10.

                  and just a curious question : would you wear a chest strap all day long ? 🤔

                    @mff73 Good question! LOL. Yes, You don’t know it’s there after a few hours. Regardless, It would just be great to have the option.

                      @mff73 I think if there was an option, wearing the strap for, say, a few hours once a month would be acceptable.
