Suunto baro 9 Red battery sudden drop

Recently purchased unit at Malaysia. Multiple issues with use. Wake up one day , the local is few hrs out , another time battery power drop from 81% to almost zero. Unit doesn’t response.
Compass previously set at shop, have to redo. Can’t get it right. Everything happen within a month.
Do I a bad unit from start?

@Peter-Ang I moved your topic to the Suunto 9 subform. First, make sure your unit is fully charged, charge overnight and then see what the battery drop is like. Second, I do not understand the local is a few hours out. Third, the compass requires calibration after charging as the charger is magnetic. Are you syncing to Suunto app?
