I just purhased a suunto 9 and I find it a really nice watch, with all the bells and whistles a sportsman can expect.
But… I was really disappointed when I tried to setup alarm pattern for my weekdays.
During weekdays I wake up at 7.30 on mon, wed, fri, while on tue and fri at 6.30. This is not possible to program with the built in alarm and I simply can’t understand why. The only option is to set different alarms every night before going to bed.
Even my cheap amazfit bit allowed me such a pattern and I know the garmins do that.
Am I the only one in need of such a feature?
Do I have any chance to see this implemented in the future? I am seriously thinking to return the watch, since I can’t stand limitations like this. -
@Andrea-Chierici You aren’t. But if it makes you feel any better… Polar doesn’t let you setup multiple alarms either. Maybe it’s a Finnish thing. I think they are worrying about your sleep consistency

@NickK
plus: multiple alarms have been requested already in another thread

You are right. This is such an easy thing to implement. I can think of no good reason to omit this from any modern watch. Of course this is primarily a sports watch, but many people wear sports watches all day long.
This annoyed me when I bought my Ambit3 and I thought that newer watches had this “feature” implemented. Simply unbelievable it’s still not available.

@Prenj Can I offer you Suunto 7? It has as many alarms as you wish! On any schedule

LOL believe it or not. I’d only accept a gift to sell it and buy another A3P
, or some Gar… if Suunto keeps screwing around with software
