@Maryn absolutely. Although I have seen Fusedalti kick in during a break and improve the altitude readings.

          Hey,
I dream of this feature “resume later” for a while now!
I have found a way to save battery by switching the GPS setting to Off or OK during long breaks. It helps a lot.

in this “pause” mode I’m sometimes a bit scared that accidential button press ends or resumes the activity…
…but I think I’m eccentric as I’m always afraid of unwanted button press… also in watch mode or during an activity when I would like to benefit from the touch function to swipe left and right to switch screens

              @TELE-HO
It happened to me several times and i hate that.
Another trick is to keep the watch on setting screen!

@TELE-HO You can still lock the buttons even in pause mode. Just press long enough to not end the activity ☝

…or is exactly this what you are scared of? 😉

Yep i tried this option, it works!
But, yes there is a but, I don’t remember exactly but it was extremely painful to unlock buttons with auto-pause or pause and rainy condition.

Edit: perhaps, i forgot the long press to the lower button…

thanks, yes I haven’t had the opportunity to try or when I’ve had it I did not remember 😉
I’ll do it next time, thank you for the hint! 👍

I think that a watch that is aware of battery drain should propose after 5 or 10 minutes to continue the activity later or not…
                      And resume it later

It’s not safe to keep that pause mode for a long Time , nor it not safe to lock

Also an option to stop that unuseful OHR that permanently flashes even during a pause or when the watch if off your wrist…

@chrisc92 OHR / HR is helpfull for calories even during a pause. Among others also for 24/7 HR that is a no go if the user doens’t explicitly turn it off.
