I don’t think there’s much more behind Kailash than this - https://www.suunto.com/News/Suunto-introduces-the-World-Collection-by-releasing-the-Suunto-Kailash-watch-for-travelers-and-adventurers/?setcountry=en

@margusl tanxs for that great info.still dont understand why u wud call a watch after a very famous mountain when it never got in evolved plus 7r I thought the 7 were adventures who climb it and r they were the ryans
-
7R stands for the adventure gene that scientists identified people with an adventurous mindset carry.
Nice marketing gag and the Kailash is a premium watch! Enjoy it!
-
@Egika thanks very much do u have one
-
@ianpet no, but I always wanted one - price is premium as well…
-
@Egika may be my fenix 3 is better has more features
-
@ianpet if
More features = better
Then yes.
The Kailash is a piece of art and the accompanying app as well. It’s for the pleasure of this art - not for a feature killer watch. -
Anyone know if this watch is supported by Suuntolink?
-
Yes it is
-
Cooooooool
-
My bronze Kailash has arrived, and I love it!
-
@wakarimasen Congrats! Could you please share some pics?
-
-
@wakarimasen Thanks! It looks awesome.
-
Nice, but the battery only appears to be lasting for two days…
-
@wakarimasen It’s a great piece of art. Loving it.
Is the battery replaceable? -
Never came across this model, very cool !!

Is the battery replaceable?I bet yet, worst case scenario by Suunto service center.

Have you tried reset it?
-
@André-Faria First thing I did via Suuntolink

I have a feeling I may be talking to an empty room, but just in case there is another Kailash user out there…
When you want to calibrate the compass, the instructions (hold lower button, when in compass mode) did NOT work for me. All I got was the flashlight. I’ve since discovered, you need to hold the upper button, which allows you to re-calibrate. -
@André-Faria It’s on it’s way there now…let’s see what they say

I’ve since discovered, you need to hold the upper button, which allows you to re-calibrate.Don’t think those devices were a huge sale device so it is less likely you find someone who had it.
