S9 Baro Boot problem.
2 days ago I bought S9 Baro, it worked fine until yesterday when i went for jogging and S9 suddenly went to mode where it only shows arrow pointing down and dots. Since that I tried to hard reset through suunto link, soft reset, but nothing seems to do the trick watch always went back to arrows with dots. I also let the battery drain out and try to repeat procedure but always same. My question to you is there anything i can do or should i take it to the dealer and let them deal with it?
@elviss if you bought it two days ago I would go to the dealer and have it exchanged. Now, about the issue, some people in this forum seem to have had the same problem leaving the watch to charge on a mac I guess, or using both Movescount and Suunto App.

That said, the “dotted arrow” screen means you need to re-flash the firmware
Did you say that connecting to SL does nothing ?
Anyway as @isazi said, return it to the dealer, maybe it’s defective, or contact suunto support
@isazi i just called a dealer and he won’t change it for new one, told me to bring it back so he will send it for repair. Anyway thanks for answering my question
@elviss good luck! But if your experience with the dealer is not good, just contact Suunto support. Many people on this forum will swear user support from Suunto is very good.
@sartoric connecting to SL was unsuccessful…i mean it connects to SL and detect the watch but doesn’t finish the procedure of flashing the firmware…SL always repeating the message to do the hard reset of watch.

So, you connect the watch to SL , run the factory reset and it never ends, correct ?
Just to be sure, do you have internet connection in case firmware download is needed ?
Anyway I suggest you to contact support.
