Movescount sync problem
-
Hi, I can’t get my moves on Movescount.com.
from the watch to SuuntoApp via bluetooth. It’s okay.
from the watch to Movescount.com via USB, it doesn’t work.
Do I have to do something I don’t know to get my moves on Movescount? -
Probably you can’t anymore.
Have you already read this ?

if I understand correctly, there is MovescountApp, which is no longer used and everything is transferred to SuuntoApp.
But there is still movescount.com (website) which can be used with SuuntoApp for analysis and comparison of moves. and this is where I can’t synchronize anything.

@Daniel-Haeberli
Not really …Suunto Movescount.com (web service): Our web service will continue to evolve in 2020. We will no longer call it Movescount and its role in our services will be to enable key functionality (including watch settings, routes and sport mode customization) for Ambit (1, 2 and 3) and Traverse family watches only.
That said, at the moment, you can still use MC APP to sync data to MC WEB
Search the forum for “parallel use” you’ll find everything -
@Daniel-Haeberli There is a workaround for this. You will need RunGap for iOS and need to purchase the subscription. You can then sync from SA to Movescount, it works fairly well. However MC will soon not be able to be used as you are using it now if I am correct. I would find another 3rd party solution if you want a web-based analysis. Runalyze is great, I use Training Peakds.

Well it’s confusing… There is a movescount app, but it’s removed from app stores. I think someone posted apk, try searching forum.
The moves from movescount can be transfered to suunto app but that’s one time job, not constant sync.
For now, movescount website is used for watch settings, routes, poi-s and moves analysis. But later this year, as announced by suunto, movescount will only be used for settings, routes and poi-s, while movescount app will be shutdown. After that, suunto app will be used to sync moves only and basic analysis on the go with your mobile. So if nothing changes, it seems we’ll lose routes sync through mobile sync even there is no technical limitation that would prevent our watches from syncing routes too. Lame move if you ask me.

@Brad_Olwin no, I use SuuntoApp and Movescount.com (website)
and I just don’t understand why from my S9 I can’t synchronize my moves to the website with the USB cable. -

That’s simple.
Because of the links I’ve attached to my post
