I noticed that this does not work also in Movescount. I am 100,00 % that worked fine few years and this februar also. You can still search in google maps with coordinates…

remember that Mapbox have stopped some things, and maybe Movescount has still not recover.
but you should be able to add POI in MC with gear/watch option ? -

easily no.
if you have android, you can find and use Movescount app (either in Playstore if already installed, or find apk somewhere), and it should sync this POI to your watch.
Search the forum for both SA/MCapp usage in parallel. -
